I Need A Raise!

So I have been sick the past two days, feeling pretty lousy. And while I have been laying around I have been thinking about all the things that I do and don't get paid for any of them. One of them is that I don't get a sick day when I am sick. James on the other hand can take the day off and not have to go to work and lay around and do nothing if he doesn't want to, and he never wants to if he doesn't feel well. I on the other hand still have to change diapers, feed kids, keep a kinda clean house, make James lunch, and still babysit all while I am sick and don't feel well. So I decided to make list of the jobs that I have, do to keep my house up and running. Here goes:

-Nurse
-Daycare provider
-Maid
-Cook
-Cheuffer
-Shopper
-Tutor
-Yard Maintence Worker
-Party Planner
-Meal Planner
-Laudry doer (I don't know the real name for this)
-Waitress
-Finacial Advisor

Those were the only ones that I can think of now, while my head is pounding. Anyways now don't you think that with all those jobs, us moms should get paid more than we do. In fact a few months ago there was a piece on the Today show saying this very thing, and they had actually figured out what the salary would be for stay at home moms that do oh so many things. I think that the figure was something like $150,00 or so. Hey that works for me.

What a Great Deal!!

I love a great deal and boy did I find some today. I went shopping at DI this morning and found three out of four of my kids Halloween costumes. They are the kind that are plush, one piece with a animal head and about $20-25 at Walmart. And I got them for $5 a piece!! Paige's is a bright pink poodle, so CUTE! Logan's is a Leopard. And Tanner got a horse that looks like you are riding it, also way cute. I know that it is early to be thinking about Halloween, but when you find a deal that good you have to snatch it up. My sister also found a darling little witch outfit with a hat, for her little girl.

I always like to stop by DI to see what kind of things I can find. I always am on the lookout of great deals. I have found so many cute clothes from Old Navy, Tommy Hilfiger's, Oshkosh, and other brands. In fact I really only try to buy things that are name brand. So my kids have lots of nice, name brand clothes that I haven't spent a fortune on.

Anyways here is a quick pic of the costumes. Of course they will be cuter once they have kids in them and aren't on the floor.

SHOES, SHOES AND MORE SHOES AND OTHER FUN THINGS

So Paige's new fasincation are shoes. Her shoes, brothers shoes or mine it doesn't matter who's, she has to have them. She wants to put them on first thing in the morning before she is even dressed, and then freaks out when I take them off to get here dressed, even if I procede to put them right back on, she still gets mad. She will find my shoes if I don't have them on, and bring them to me and try to put them on, sometimes she even gets them on the right way. Amazing! And some days, she won't let me take them off for her nap, she wants to sleep with them on. On this particular day she has lost one and I put her down for a nap with only one on.
Over the weekend we went over the Glendale, for a Demo Derby that James' brother was running in at Kanab. So while we were there Paige had found Austin's hat and kept it on her head. That is a feat in its self, she uasually likes to put it on and take it off again and again and again. So this Sat. she atually kept it on and I grabed a few photos of her.

This same Sat. the boys talked grandpa into making them some wooden swords. Doesn't that just sound wonderful! Well after they all had one, even Paige had a little one, we had to take a photo. Now hopefully we won't have any accidents or injuries from these fun little toys.

My dad also stopped by on Friday one his way home from being on a fire in Idaho for two weeks. We went to the park and had dinner and let the kids play while we all visited. We then went to my sisters house to hand out and give the kids a bath. We had a fun time, just before we left we snapped this photo with grandpa and the kids.

The Adventures of An Almost 4 yr. old

You would of thought that I wouldn't be surprised over something that one of my children had done. You would think that I would have seen it all considering I have two older kids. So tonight while we were supposed to be eating dinner, Logan proceeded to get out of his seat and say that he was finished. This happens often, I really try to keep us all eating at the same time, even if you are finished we still sit and wait for everyone to finish their dinner. Well tonight I did not have the stamina to fight with him, seeing how I have been fighting while him all day. So after the older boys and I had finished eating, I was wondering were Logan was. Come to find out, he was hiding in the dryer! Never has one of the kids found and gotten into the dryer! Leave it to Logan to try it out and of course on this day of all days. He had just been in one of those moods, not wanting to do anything that mom says. He had proceeded to make mud puddles in the sandbox and get himself and others all muddy, he had made forts out of my couch cushions, lets just say that today has been one of those days. And the dryer incident was the icing on the cake, not in a bad way, because it was really funny and we had to take a picture. So here is the fun ending to quite an eventful day.

Please forgive me and not look at the dirt and grim all over the dryer, I really need to clean it and now am embarrassed to have all see it.
